well lets try number #2
so the first time i tried this i would type and nothing would happen.. i think my computer thinks were in Uganda or something with choppy Internet. That's one of the reasons why I never got around to blogging as i had hope to. so with this new month starting its about time i get these memories out of my head and on to this blog to share with all of you.
again where to start??? well how about here: we landed in Entebbe,Uganda about 7am, as we make our way to the luggage area,i get a kick out of how this airport looks I imagine its close to something you would see in a movie or TV about Zombie Apocalypse minus the Zombies...although I felt like one (yea i don't believe in a zombie apocalypse just for the record) but dead tried traveling with little to no sleep, 2) 18 hour layovers but I'm here! the airport is a mess, airport workers are few, there's papers everywhere soda bottles a broken escalator not that i need one.at least there's lights...well some what. ha ha
the bags start rolling in and so many people waiting to claim there's and head on to where ever their going. I've never seen so many military bags just like my own. you know the heavy duty cargo bags made of canvas..yea its the perfect way to travel.don't gotta worry about it falling apart. finally my bags appear,(slightly worried maybe they didn't make it,or some person decided that they needed the shoes I was delivering more then these kids did in Masaka. but nope there here yay... now first things first dig threw my back to find the off...sure i have malaria pills but i just don't like getting bit by mosquito's..not that I'm afraid of contracting some disease in a foreign country..ha ha no far from it.. its the itching that drives me nuts.
so passing through everything needed to go threw i make my way to the exit..ah the morning sunlight.Thank You Jesus! You have brought me back! instantly i get bombarded by taxi drivers and hey Muzungu I'll drive you where you want! pick me! all shouting at once(personally I don't like the word Muzungu along with gringo In Mexico and Guatemala and Ha'ole in Hawaii)so anyone shouting that is an insta No thanks! seriously i didn't mind as much until later on in the trip...something to work on in me LORD.
so i politely declined to all of them when the biggest dude of all approaches me and says" don't worry about them you should pick me I'm your man to take you anywhere" well sir I'm sorry but I've got a driver arranged..the Man said well where is he? I'm not sure I replied. He then says well if and when he does not show up you will pick me! is that so i thought in my head.he steps of to the side pulling my cart of bags and says lets go! we go now! wait one min i says. scanning through the crowd i look for my name on pieces of paper but see nothing that says my name or ABC,or Amani Baby Cottage.
not to know what to think, sleep deprived and vulnerably to any kind of attack or even if this dude grabbed my bags and left I'm not sure if i had the mental capacity or strength to stop him. but then in the back of the crowd i see a man holding a sign that says A Man Baby Carriage
i thought many things lol like what kind of place is that I wonder, then not seeing anything close to ABC except him and the big Ugandan trying to arm me to go with him.I call him over. Excuse me sir but who are you looking for? someone from the states a man....he says softly, well do you have a name for him? no he replied. are you from this place pointing at the sign.yes! OK well where is it located? Jinja he replied.I thought for a sec this may be the guy. he asked me some questions and i answered then he grabbed my bag and said come we go. i stopped him and said I'm not totally sure your my driver I'm looking for Amani baby cottage.oh he says. it was the kind of oh like oh that's not me your looking for someone else. he steps back and makes a phone call.the crowd of people are still yelling and the big dude looks at me like "man i will lay this guy out just so we can go" the guy starts saying Charlie i think this is the guy but he doesn't believe me can you talk to him? he passes the phone and she begins to tell me something but it was so loud and my hearing is not fully restored yet..it will be but not at that time.so i decided to take a leap of faith and go with this guy.
its not that i cared so much about the bags and it contents more then trusting anyone to get me where ever.if they got stolen i think id be fine with that. the only items i did care about were the 100 pairs of shoes given to me to bring for the kids in Timothy's Home in Masaka,Jinja
so the guy helped me with my bags,we got all loaded up and were headed out for our 4 trip to Jinja.now Jinja is not that far and if there was no traffic jams you'd get there in like an hour maybe 1hr 30mins. leaving the airport I said my name is Sam what is yours? He said My name is Abdul, well Abdul it is a long drive can we stop to get some drinks? sure he replied.pulling up to a gas station we got out leaving my back pack behind and locking the door Abdul reopens and says take that bag with you...yea? you think its not safe in the car? the doors are locked and we can see the car. Abdul said yes but you never know what people will do. they see a white person and it changes things so please take the bag. inside we got a few cokes(yea i know what your thinking 8-9am and your having a coke?) (yea well i didn't care, and still dint lol) about to pay Abdul turns to me and says when you are done wait right outside for me,I will be right back! just going to make a phone call.please stay here!OK no problem i said.. so i payed and walked outside Abdul was gone nowhere in sight! i thought ah what just happened?seems kind of shady if ya ask me.about 5-10 mins later he comes back and says ok we go. driving down the road I think Abdul is ballin, as 3 different phones start ringing lol.
So as we were going along he thanked me for the coke and the snacks that i would share with him during our trip.he says you are to kind to share your food with me...really its just peanut butter crackers I thought. you know the orange crackers that come in a 6pack.he was happy. soon after i began to ask him about where he live, kids?wife? his home land and how many languages he spoke. you know small talk,no radio and a long drive may as well get to know a person. next i remember my friend Barrett last year asked our translator all kinds of question of how do u say this or that.so then ask how do you say How are You in Lugandan he replies with Oli o tia (excuse me if i get the spelling wrong) then he says the response is Gendi meaning Good or I am good.
Abdul said he spoke Swahili so from my encounter last year i ran into a man who spoke Swahili and his granddaughter spoke Lugandan, how they understood each other is a mystery but our Translator knew both. so Abdul how do you say How are you? Ah-ba-dee-ah-go and if they are good the response is Mazuli = i am alright
this went on for a little while with different sayings and tons of questions. he looked to be entertained by it. during the trip he would tell me in what parts to roll up the window or to put away my phone, put my bag in the back, lock the doors and when i could relax and roll down the windows take a nap or whatever.
after 3hrs it seemed we were finally out of the city and the smog. i saw a think black cloud in the city it was sad to me to see people have to breathe this crap in all day.its a mixture of smog and trash burning. It burned my eyes and made it hard to breathe.
out in the country we passed a farm the grew tea on one side of the road and on the other side sugar was growing. owed by the same company. ha ha makes sense grow the tea and sugar they go hand in hand.
unfortunately all these farms we passed are not own by Ugandans but outside influence and the works get paid next to nothing. now i dont know about you But i helped my late friend Bryan pick macadamia nuts and coffee and both are not easy jobs.. in fact they both sucked but it was an experience to do it for a part-time short lived career.I've got much respect for the people back home who do it and the people here in Uganda who. pick spiders...i mean banana's,tea, sugarcane and any other job that breaks your back.send you out into fields that are home to snakes and spiders(none of my favorite things God made)
we passed and area closer to Jinja where they where digging up and replacing the road.kids would line the highway selling semi cold/warm sodas, meat on a stick, chicken on a stick, bags of nuts, corn on the cob.yes i was hungry but no we didn't buy anything."its not safe" which is true i supposed, you don't know how long that meat has been sitting in sun, no refrigeration then partially cooked.
finally Jinja Town and the bridge that crosses the Nile! we made it yay!
bout 15mins later we made it to Amani, mmmm something looks different! i was only here for a short time last year. a night bonfire but i dont remember any of this...we pull up and I'm thinking well maybe were at A Man baby Carriage! Nope moments later i see Danyne and she say welcome to our new place! oh that's why i don't remember anything, ha cause Ive never been here.
unloading the bags she shows me where I'll be staying for the week. and I have to say i was greatly impressed and over joyed.
God is faithful to provide every time. I knew i was going to Jinja i wasn't sure were id be staying. a mud hut would of been fine i guess. She briefly says well this room was built in the event we would have any male volunteers but has been used as a storage area since we built it. you are the first person to actually stay here. now there a bathroom and shower but unfortunately we don't have the hot water hooked up yet, no problem i replied.(3days of travel and no shower or sleep a cold shower is perfect)
she went on to say that majority of the volunteers they get are women, they had very few men come. ( probably because Men feel they don't belong in an orphanage because its not Mainly!) (which is quite the opposite.a male or father presence in a baby's life in important and needed. so if your a guy and reading this. I'd say do it bro. be that big brother,Uncle, father to orphaned kids, the world needs men to step up and take on the role and lead these kids in love following the example of Christ and just being apart of their lives)...oh dont get me started on that subject.( to many fatherless nation around the world of guys being unavailable, abandoned or simple emotionally not there. Emotionally now I'm not saying to be an emotional pantie and get in touch with your feminine side.were guys we don't have that but you can be there for some kids supporting, encouraging leading them in a better way to go.(yup to late now im on that subject again) (time to redirect back to the trip)
I mention to Danyne about the taxi fare and how i didn't have shillings yet so should i pay in American? she said will take care of it and to pay them back later before i leave.fair enough can do. so Danyne introduces me to her Uncle,Uncle Dusty, really cool guy he shows me around the outside area, introduces me to Mathis and Sam and shows me the projects he has in mind that we can work on during the weeks.(sweet now i have purpose) there is painting the inside of a 2 roomed shack, repainting and installing locks on some homemade lockers, gardening.and a few other things that we will start on tmrw I'm sure you must be tired from your trip. I said really I've gone 3days without a shower and really just want to do that. then we can work on any project you want! he laughed and said no you rest get settled in and will start tmrw morning! Oh by the way we had hoped by now to have the hot water working but its not so all we have is cold water..but the best times to show would be late after noon after the pipes have been heated up all day.
so im pretty sure nothing is as cold as the water in Zona Reyna, deep in the mountains of Guatemala.the inside and outside showers are freezing cold along with the freezing cold river. yes Ive tried all 3. and not particularly looking forward to that in Oct 2013,but its water and theirs soap so I'm happy.
After the amazing Shower Uncle Dusty took me into town to exchange currency and to stop by the store for water and some food. every box of water is 15,000 shilling doesn't matter the bottle size..so i grabbed the 1.5 liters 12 of them and that lasted a while. uncle dusty pointed out that back at the cottage there was filtered water and 2 filtering system i could use if need. i then picked up some ramin noodles and some other things. back when i met Danyne and she gave a brief tour she said that morning breakfast consisted of fruit that i could grab the day before as needed from mama Maggie(i didn't quite understand that until my last 2 days there) they had pineapple and bananas.then every days at 1pm is lunch, which is prepared and cooked by Mama Sarah.so don't be late.
this is cool Mama Sarah cooks lunch everyday for all the kiddos, staff, volunteers, visitor if any the grounds workers, and at the same time has contract jobs to cook for people working on construction jobs and such, everything she makes in soooooo good!
then she says dinner are up to you...just then i thought OH Crap! i was so busy raising money(and sucking at it) that i thought i had everything, taxi, shelter for both 1st and last week, visa and a few other things that I totally forgot to budget in food...HA i was in a rush before i left that i left the peanut butter and jelly sitting on the counter at home...well i guess I'm fasting dinners i thought.
Fortunately God is faithful to provide everything needed.
( a few days before i left a friend of mine Newman said its all about trust and faith.and faith you have i see it every time i see you,but basically the moment you step off that plane and your standing at the airport not know what to do next. that will be like your leap of faith and saying God here I am whats next? and He provide for you the all way.watch. he's already got it all planned out. and like I've told you before He's taken care of everything.) when Uncle dusty and I returned from town.
Danyne said that the volunteer girls said they have enough food to have you over for dinner tonight and tmrw night. What! that's awesome Thanks God!. so i said sure.
a little later i met the pastor of a church in Colorado who had come with some of the members of their church. they had heard stories of a women who came last year to visit Amani the same time that our team was there.
the Young Pastor and His wife greeted me and introduce some of the other they came with, Uncle dusty had mentioned that i was from the states here to stay a month and work in Uganda.it look as he was shocked and impressed.I didn't pay much attention but introduce myself and said very little. he later then said would you please join us for dinner tonight, and don't worry we got you.really i thought? i mean i already have dinner.i may of even said that. but they insisted and said we wont take no for an answer. at the time i didn't know he was the pastor. not until later that night at dinner.
we went to a place called The Keep along with uncle dusty and his wife Mary, i had eaten there last year with BWO. The Keep is an American couple from VA i think who moved here and opened up this restaurant, teaching the Ugandans how to cook and prepare the items on the menu.everything on the menu i would suggest!
so we talked ate and talked more,He shared his ministry and what there vision was to help Amani and I shared what God has allowing me to do in Guatemala and now here. at the end of the night while everyone is figuring out the bill aunt Mary says we got to go. so we left in a rush really and I had to pay for my own meal..totally not what i expected good thing i brought along some shillings.(personally in my experience if i said or someone said no worries i got you that usually means its on me)(not that i was looking for a free hand out, not at all i was tight on anything as it was but don't say anything smile and be on your way) as i did, thanking them for having me join them, not gonna lie it was good to talk and get to know them.
shortly after we got back I fell asleep for a short time and woke up several times during the night wondering if it was morning yet.5am when no more sleep could be had, opened the Word and began to read. 7am lets get ready for work and start day 2.
my apologies if you find this boring, hopefully you dont find it all to be boring but if ya do.then i can't help ya there..
to be continued...

June 7th
American Airlines has redeemed it self today, last year when my bro in law and I went to check me in the ticket clerk was an ass big time the dude started talking to me as if I was 5 and then yelled at me and snarled a few times. It sucked plus he made me pay $200 for an extr bag. When I said what I thought the price was he lol an said that's impossible. And proceeded to charge an insane amount.
This time however the person who did my bags said there both free. Free? I said in shock. Yes she replied and they will arrive in Uganda where you will pick them up. So don't worry about them.
Still in shock I showed her the paper I had that said my second bag was $60. She then said nope it's free and your good to go!
I then went to the counter where I had some questions to ask the ticket clerk. Ah sweet redemption again this guy was nice and helpful answered all my questions with a smile and provided the information I needed. Have a good day he said as I turned to walk away.
Before turning I said thank you! And explained a little of last years expirence. He then said well you should of came to me cause that's just not right.
Ah sweet security line. No problem Mon.
A little wait but 20mins later in and out and on to my gate.
Left DFW at 8:40 pm and landed In Dulles international airport.
I think I'm in Virginia or maybe it's west Virginia. I would like to come back here some day and go site seeing it this is not one of those trips.
Now to find a place to sleep and continue to wait for the next flight!
Thank You Jesus for this day. Amen

good to go
Thanks for the Help
about a week ago in the midst of worry I thought it might be a good idea to make a plan B,so after connecting with a few people I decided that this trip was going to be a lot different.while still hoping that Plan A would come through Plan B looked more hectic solo then I thought. with the help of a Friend and some advice from a few Pastor's who all said to go for it and that it would be an adventure I decided sure why not. I mean i am holding my tickets to Africa in hand and everything else seem to line up with it.
well this week The LORD provided 956.40 through a few strangers, and many friends.I am very thankful to be a part of the team and look forward to seeing them when they arrive in Jinja, Uganda.
My Amazing friends Newman and Avery had prepared me survival pack and have given it to me a day before everything came together..
. If the van happens to break leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere.I'll be prepared to fend off Lions, hyena's and anything else trying to eat us.a snake bit kit to keep ya alive a few more hours, plus other great items.
what? Unclean water you say...No Problems will just take this and UV nuke all the crap out and wahlah pure drinking water!
So i leave my home to head for the airport in a few hours, hope on a plane and sit in Dulles Airport until 6pm tomorrow.then hop on over to London arrive at 6am and wait there until 6-9pm for the last flight and arrive in Uganda early Sunday morning...A lot of people watching, reading, thinking, writing, and hopefully sleeping is about to take place.
Thank you for everyone who has supported a piece of this trip.
I honestly cant tell you what is about to happen. but I can say that its going to be an Adventure with Papa and me.

YOLO
Yolo!!! yea thats right You Only Live Once!
So they days ahead will come fast and be busy...very busy, still have to right about past trips,Battle reports of what God's done in the live of people down in Guatemala and over in Acuna,Mexico.those are coming soon.
as for an Update to Africa. here it is
originally it was just a 2week trip again with Believers World outreach aka BWO. Then some friends of mine said hey Kai would you want to stay an extra week? Sure i thought..this is so cool 2weeks is now 3 weeks.as the weeks went by a friend of mine called an said "Kainoa My wife Jess and i really want to help you get to Uganda and Guatemala but we have no money". No worries i said.God will provide.
Yes! yes he did. so my friend say i have an American Airlines Credit card and we were going to use it for a vacation for us. but since Zoe arrived(their new born Girl) the 3 of us are not going anywhere soon. So i have enough to Uganda and maybe enough for Guatemala...needless to say he got both in so I went to GUA already and now headed to Uganda. Good is good!
but it gets better the only trip that was available was leave DFW June 7th and come home July 10....yea can we say 1 month trip!
so the new plan was to be spend a week in Jinja and wait for the BWO team to come in.then join them and saty a week after they left. by getting my own ticket this shaved off roughly 1000. from the trip. still needed 1650. in by which i raised $750. today June 1st was the deadline to get $956.40 in well i can say thats not happening... yes im still going to Africa but I wont be meeting up with the team.
BWO will not give me back the funds i sent in from people you supported my trip.instead they keep it and say they can put it twords another trip good for up to 1 year...well this doesnt really help me.
I've got a plane ticket(RT) a bag of shoes, and some dried food.up intill 2 hours ago i didnt have a place to stay for 2 weeks. but now the new plan is
1st week in Jinja working at an orphange, then hopefully visiting another orphanages with special needs kids. then i dont yet know how but making my way on the 17th or 18th to Masaka,Uganda to stay at an orphanage my friend Nana helped build last year. for 2 weeks then possibly moving to another place in the same area.
so now with a 6days to go i am still raising funds but no longer for BWO but for the needs in country..this trip is definitely not like last years.instead its more focused on 2 or 3 areas. more time spent with the same people.I like it. i know that all these "plans" can change but ultimatly I know who is in control and see what I can not see. Therefore I will not be afraid.
My sister just called and said Sooo this is no longer a missions trip then?
ah yea it is.cause Im not going on vacation here.I'll be working for the LORD,where the Holy Spirit leads, praying for those who need it. playing with hundreds of kids, hopeing to see people get saved, healed, set free and liveing in the love of Jesus Christ.
in fact every believer is on the mission field everyday of your life. it may not look like what you would think a mission trip should look like. or you may not be going to a foreign country like Africa, Guatemala, or Russia. but your mission is right here in front of you. even when I am here i focus on the things around me here to expand the Kingdom for His Glory and expand the family.
James 4;14 says you do not know what will happen tomorrow, your life is but a vapor here for a little while then it vanishes away.
this is true so every chance you get love on someone through a smile not just words.

Outreach Ft.Worth
on Saturday we went to Unity park
in downtown Fort Worth.the park is right off of east Lancaster. where a
lot of the cities homeless people live, every 2nd saturday of the month
is when we go out there to help,it is the one Saturday when they have
the least amount of help.different churches and groups come out. This
saturday we brought drinks as usual and home made cookies, sometimes we
bring or cook food there.like hamburger and hot dogs.
when we arrived I had a huge
headache and after helping set up some tables the headache went away but
just as TJ and the guys went to set up flag football my foot began to
hurt so bad i knew i couldn't play football so i just chilled for a
bit.finally I saw a man sitting in a wheel chair under the shade of a
giant tree behind us..This man had no legs and was an elderly man.but
that's not the reason I decided to get up and go walk over to him. to be
honest im not sure why but it was better then "watching the drinks"at
the table.
never really know how to break the
ice or what to say.but I started with a Hi Sir mind if I come chill
with you? Sure he said as his eyes were fixed on something over
yonder, kneeling down next to his chair I says well my name is Samuel,he
said his name was Charles.well it a pleasure to meet ya Mr.Charles.He
says like wise Sam. as i sat there i felt like what the flip am i doing
this is kind of awkward what do i say next? the silence is thick so i
began to ask questions like where ya from and how long ya been here.He
said he's from Tennessee and he's been here for 30+ years,He likes it
here.I asked a few more questions then He said with a loud stern, hard voice I
DON'T DO Questions! you said can you chill,i said sure then you start
asking question I don't do questions!
ok ok sorry man imma ask u 1 more
question then I'll go he got this look like "man if i had legs I'd kick
you in your head"... so I says can a pray with you?
it looked like it threw him off and so he said why sure I would love me some prayer, you never can get to much of it.
So I prayed a simple but heart
felt prayer just for overwhelming Joy and more love in His heart.God's
provision and some other things. after I said Amen, He said man all
those things you just prayed God has already given them to me.I thought
well never hurts to receive more for His goodness.( i might of said that
out loud cant remember) but Mr.Charles goes on to say How you don't
even know.God is and has been providing for me for 61 years weather i
liked it or not and only God will keep continuing to provided for me.you
come with your questions asking about me..
I don't wanna talk about me
and besides you don't know me and i don't know you.and another thing "It
is NOT about me or you its only about Him."I agree with him and he begins
to talk more and more.next thing you know he is talking about the
weather, the area, the people of back then and now a days,He talks of life
and the Greatness of God.it was so good.I says well Mr. Charles God is
good! ALL the time.even when we don't feel or look good He is still good
and good to us all the time.with that Mr. Charles went on talking some
more. and withe further this conversation went the more you could
actually see the Joy of the Lord fall on this man.His eyes lit up and
his smile grew bigger and bigger, next came laughter.
I could actually see
Jesus in and threw this man.sitting there getting excited for the
things that His father is doing and has done.
Mr.Charles says you know there is
only three things and God supplies all three to everyone all the
time.
first is shelter.you can make or find shelter anywhere. you see
that tables there? Yes i said. he says well if its rain and u want some
cover or if its hot and the sun is beating down on ya and ya need some
shade.there is a table get under it! use the things God has left for you
around you.I can make a place to sleep anywhere and have shelter
to.under that over hang there in these tress and brush.I don't need a
big ol fancy house to live in and pay people money for electric or
water. God provides everything i need right where I am at.next is
clothing..look around we all have it we are all wearing clothes."man in
all my 61 years Never have I seen someone going streaking down these
streets. never have i see one person butt naked begging for clothes on
the side of the road."
why?
Because God provides!
next is Food as he taps a plastic
bag hanging from his wheel chair God always provides me with food.and
drinks, man if you where to say to me Mr.Charles can i get you a coke?
or if I was to see you and Say Hey could you get me a coke.so lets say
you go and come back.before you return i would have had many cokes by
that time.why? because God provides.
Man I talk to God all day long He
is the only one who knows me best.and I know Him.He provides things that
you may not even believe me but He does and He will keep on doing.I
dont need no one to help me and no one can help me like God can!
as Mr Charles talk and I listened
the other church began to set up there tables behind us and more people
with there kids came to help do what they were doing.but as I sat on my
knees listening to this man speak it felt as if time lost all feeling of
its self and there was no time.Mr.Charles went on to talk about the
Ozone, the future, how we are killing this earth, the future earth for our
kids or my generations kids when they get older, how many animals and
plants are extinct and how maybe in the future kids of those day wont
even get to know what a tree is.only see pictures in books or old family
photos.
lightening bugs! he says
strongly.ah fireflies Mr.Charles? Yes fireflies now tell me whens the
last time you saw one of them? thinking back well shoot its been a
while.he says exactly! where have they gone? no one knows, hopefully far
far away from us.
He names some other things and
talks more on it.that switches subjects and says its only gonna get
hotter! each year get worse then the one that has passed.not only here
but everywhere will keep getting hotter.he shares ideas of earthquakes
and meteors."not in a crazy end of the world were all gonna die way"
but just theories that he has.
Mr. Charles has so much passion
and excitement when he spoke about the glories and wonders, and provision
of the LORD God.it was incredible!
He stops and said a few time very briefly during different times of his sharing"man now im all worked up".
but towards the end he say you
know this is all because of you he had a serious look on his face if you
didn't know him you would say he looked like he was about to bite my
head off.he said I just wanted to sit hear and chill not talk or do
anything but you just had to come with your question! then i said I
don't do questions i meant it to.don't ever come to this park its only
my second time but boy you as he pointed his finger at me got me all
fired up about this....I didn't know what to expect he was gonna say
next i thought maybe he really was mad that he got all fired up.who
knows.but then Mr.Charles said man it has all been worth it.thank you
for coming over and talking to me.and thank you i said for talking and
sharing with me.he laughed and smiled and laughed some more then has if
he had legs he stomped his feet and jumped for joy.he was so so happy
and overfilled with joy.it was such a great time to be able to meet and
hear this guy.
wrapping up its getting real
close to lunch time and the lines are forming he says we better move
before all these crazies run me and u over.but before i let you go I
just want to say one more thing.he shared it then he says boy I tell you
i have had a lot of fun talking with you! and i agreed and said well i'
enjoyed talking with you.he laughed and said you talking? hell i did
all the talking you just sat there and listened.God bless you my boy
your a good man.as we moved out of the way and more into the back he
said imma let you go you've been sitting here long enough i dont wanna
take up any ore of your time I thank you for listening to me.No the
pleasure was all mine as i sat back down.can i get you something to
drink.we have water and soda he said well...nah let me get some
water.walked over to the coolers to pull out a cold bottle of water and
next thing you know i was sitting by him listening to him share more
goodness.he says you know everything grows up!
we had started to talk
about plants and right when he said that I got a picture in my mind and a
plant growing up towards the heavens not because the plant needed
sunlight but because the Plant wanted to stretch its arms or branches towards the
heaven and reach out for its maker show him the beauty the He created
and give Him glory.
we hovered on plants topic for a
bit then switched a few time untill we got to a place where i had the
opportunity to share with him what Great things God has done for me.the
story of the teeth journey and the word God gave me to stand on..it was
Matt 6:25 do not worry of the things of this world.where u will sleep or
what you will eat or what you will wear....Mr.Charles laughed and
laughed and said see food clothes, shelter. God is Good! All the time!
In the very end Mr.Charles says you know what I could get water every where all the time.maybe i should of went with a soda...i \i head to the coolers and see what i can get him.what do u know it happened to be a coke.bring it back i says well it turns out that God has provided you with another coke.
"He laughed and said yes! Yes he sure did."
thank you for going to get it from over there. till we meet again and best believe we will met again. as he rode away.
Matthew 6-25-31
25 “Therefore
I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what
you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life
more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look
at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into
barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value
than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
